It seems that the recession has inspired Dior. John Galliano showed a brilliant collection of girls with flapper like hair do’s and simple lines which would make one think of the Depression era; coincidence no? This fall in lieu of the economic times Dior produced frocks with luxe fabrics and timeless wear ability that would be worth the price tag. Although no one I know would be able to afford anything by Dior, soon these amazing designs will trickle down to my price range and hopefully the lush fabrics wont be lost in the decent. Take a look at Dior Fall/2009.
And is it just me, or is Galliano starting to look more and more like Salvador Dali?
